Cost: You have three options for purchasing tickets for the event: you may buy a table for ten; a half table for five; or individual seats. Individuals and organizations purchasing a whole or half table receive priority seating at the event.

Full table (seating for ten): $700
Half table (seating for five): $350
Individual seats: $70

Honor Your Own: All nonprofit organizations purchasing a table or individual tickets to the 2009 National Philanthropy Day event are encouraged to take advantage of the Honor Your Own program.

Honor Your Own provides you with an opportunity to show your donors, board members, volunteers and staff how much you appreciate all that they do to make your organization great.

Cost: $15 per person to honor individual guests at your table

Each of your honorees will receive:

  • A lapel flower upon arrival
  • Written recognition in the event program
  • Recognition by the emcee from the stage

It will be a tribute they will never forget!

October 31, 2009, is the deadline for submitting honor your own information to the office for your honorees to be included in the program. You may still purchase honor your owns after this time and enjoy all of the other benefits.

All registrations must be received by November 13, 2009. All names for table purchases are due to the AFP Minnesota Office at that time.

Please note that all cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event to quality for a refund and that all no-shows will be billed.

About Matt Blair

Matt BlairMatt Blair, one of six children, was born in Hawaii. With his dad in the Army and Air Force, he grew up all over the world. He completed his junior and senior high school years in Dayton, Ohio. His athletic career began in high school and took him through college and 12 years with the Minnesota Vikings. He has also played in numerous pro-ams and national golf events across the country and helped raise money at charitable golf tournaments.

Matt’s mission is to help people in need and teach the youth by sharing his past, allowing them to prepare for the present, dream and work hard for a better future. From day one, Matt has given back to the community and charities, while playing for the Minnesota Vikings and continuing to do so today. His many trips on NFL USO tours to visit our troops have taken him to many worldwide military locations, including Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Diego Garcia, Turkey, Guam, Germany, Italy, Spain and most recently in 2004 and 2005 to Iraq and Afghanistan.

In 1986, Matt founded Matt Blair's Celebrity Promotions, Inc., which orchestrates hundreds of projects ranging from golf tournaments, grand openings, basketball games, speeches, galas, endorsements and more. His photographs and writing have been published in several books.
