Greater Twin Cities United Way | Minneapolis, MNSalary Range: $73,000 - $75,000PRIMARY PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLEGreater Twin Cities United Way established a Mid-Level or Leadership Giving segment in 2020 and is moving into its next version, utilizing, and building on the learnings with a strong focus on growth. The Donor Advisor is responsible for soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of annual donors, qualifying them for a major and/or planned gift, and referrals to major gifts portfolios, giving communities or volunteer roles.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for personal portfolio of revenue of $750k to $1.2m - creating engagement plans for qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of portfolio of 500 – 600 donors
- Increase pipeline of Leadership level donors referred to Senior Donor Advisors or Principal Gifts
- Utilize Salesforce CRM system to record donor detail and track moves management
- Learn and maintain up to date knowledge about United Way’s impact strategies and engagement opportunities to build, cultivate and leverage relationships.
- Operates within a larger team while managing a portfolio to achieve results
COMPETENCIES THAT SUPPORT YOUR WORK
- Minimum of three plus years in direct fundraising, sales, or customer service
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus, equivalent work experience considered
- A strong orientation to action and demonstrates initiative to take on new opportunities with a sense of high energy, urgency, and enthusiasm
- Demonstrates accountability to work, owning responsibilities and results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-starter who consistently achieves results, persisting in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. Has a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Relationship-oriented: builds and grows intentional business relationships and networks to drive resources and results

- Experience working with Salesforce CRM is a plus
