Join Josh Birkholz, CEO of BWF and Chair of Giving USA, present on the 2023 Giving USA report. Learn how these stats and details can help your nonprofit strategy and gain insight into unique trends. As a bonus, there will be an in-person workshop after the report presentation.

Workshop: Led by Mark Marshall, Principal, BWF and Michelle Edgerton, Executive Vice President of Mission Advancement, YMCA of the North, our in-person attendees will participate in a workshop on utilizing the Giving USA Report to shape your nonprofit strategy. Please note that this workshop will be available for in-person attendees only.

Josh Birkholz has been driven to help turn tomorrow’s dreams into today’s realities. Philanthropy inspires him because “giving is the most tangible, collective, and inspiring demonstration of this essential human quality. To enable philanthropy is among the noblest of pursuits.”

Josh, who literally wrote the book on fundraising analytics, has been recognized for his contributions to the field, having received Apra’s Visionary Award, been ranked 4th among the “Top 40 Most Effective Fundraising Consultants” by Business of Giving, and earned CASE’s Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence.

At BWF, he oversees organizational fundraising leadership and innovation, strategic planning and change engineering, enterprise-wide data-driven strategies, campaign management and counsel, and high net worth program development. He has served clients by designing multi-billion-dollar campaigns, conducting advancement-wide strategic planning, building major and principal gift programs, conducting high-touch donor sentiment analysis, and helping to integrate data science and technology to achieve measurable growth.

This event will be hosted as a hybrid session at the Buenger Education Center - Concordia University St Paul (379 Syndicate St N, St Paul, MN 55104) and virtually. Please indicate how you would like to attend during the registration process.

To be accessible to each member of our fundraising community, we’re offering you the option to pay-what-you-can. Your payment helps us honor our speakers time and expertise with a stipend and cover the costs of technology and technical support for promotion, registration, and the session. The average cost per person is about $30. If you would like to assist with covering the cost of the session for another individual, you can enter your payment under the donation section.
