Accountable for the collaborative delivery of donor diversification strategies working across Advancement teams; Volunteer and Engagement, Corporate Relations, Individual Giving and People & Culture. Builds relationships and manages execution resulting in increased engagement and financial support of the work of Greater Twin Cities United Way.ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIESOverall• Directly responsible for responsive delivery of strategies, through planning and execution that result increased donor engagement and revenue.• Partner to support the co-creation of donor diversification strategies and priorities• Work with multiple departments to activate fundraising strategies:o Volunteer and Engagement events staff for signature events, corporate fee for service, Flavors of the Community, Action Dayo Individual Giving events staff for signature eventso Marketing and Donor Communications for creation and activation of traditional and social media coverageo Grantmakingo Campaign – using campaign audience as a donor recruitment and retention toolo Business Relationship Officers/Managers – supporting the securing of company sponsorships, ERG activation and other innovation initiativeso Leadership Giving and Major Donor Advisors – discover, cultivate, and steward leadership and major donors.o Work to integrate the day-to-day Giving Communities support into the Fundraising Teams as a part of a broader product roadmap and in partnership with volunteer-led committees and stakeholders.1 to Many/Direct Mail• Work in collaboration with donor communications on direct mail creation that support donor diversification strategies.• Lead, build and develop new and innovative direct mail fundraising working with digital fundraising teams.• Support the strategy delivery which will increase engagement and revenue of donors to include, but not limited to direct mail, digital fundraising, event gifts and sponsorships, and non-employee giving.• Coordinate with Advancement Services to record and maintain donor details in CRM database and review analytics determined.Digital Fundraising• Build a collaborative partnership with digital fundraising team to champion fundraising opportunities with diverse donor audiences.• Build collaborative partnerships with corporate and individual fundraising teams that support donor diversification and engagement activities with Digital Marketing staff.• With the VP of Donor Diversification, Director of Innovation, VP DEI, Director of Major Gifts, Director of Volunteerism, Director of Advancement Strategies implementing fundraising plans.• Build relationships with our internal business line leaders in order to identify all opportunities to leverage additional revenue sources with a focus of diverse donor engagement and acquisition.COMPETENCIES THAT SUPPORT YOUR WORK• 3-5+ years of experience in fundraising/segment marketing/community building with demonstrated growth and diversification results• Supports the mission and values of Greater Twin Cities United Way• A strong bias for action demonstrated through the ability to take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.• Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.• Strong relationship management and ability to relate openly with others• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written• Strong volunteer management skills.• Understands and focuses on donor needs and trends• Possesses the ability to work and think strategically by thinking future-forward• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity• Ability to project plan and align objectives with organization and/or department goalsHOW TO APPLYPlease submit at least a resume to hr@gtcuw.org before June 30th, 2023.
