System Annual Giving Manager

Salary Range: $38.22 - $57.93

Responsible for the strategy, management and growth of Allina Health's annual giving program. This role will lead the strategy for donor acquisition, renewal and upgrade, incorporating individual donor solicitation, direct mail, online, email, social media, and indirect giving channels. They will be a leader in developing fundraising messages and campaigns for the program and will oversee initiatives for Allina Health's internal audiences including employees and grateful patients. This role will work closely with the Donor Experience team to ensure proper stewarding of over annual donors.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILIES:
  • Build new programs to cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors for gifts Work closely with colleagues in advanced annual, major and planned giving to develop a pipeline of donors and support the donor continuum. Work closely with brand expression team and external vendors to develop communications plan and packaging for creative, high-end appeals inviting donors, patient families, and employees to participate in fundraising campaigns.
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive direct mail program Work with Brand Expression team members and Direct Marketing vendor to plan year-round campaign themes and mail drops.
  • Establish performance goals, evaluate progress through statistical reporting and analysis. Conceptualize themes; direct, review and approve creative content. Actively engage physician partners in tribute and stewardship process
  • Develop fundraising strategies that integrate with System and Unit initiatives Work closely with Brand Expression, Consumer Experience, and Marketing team members re: e-philanthropy, including email, web efforts, and social media. Ensure that creative content is appropriate for campaign messaging.
  • Develop annual giving strategic and operations plans Develop and implement a master plan and calendar for a multi-channel approach to annual giving. Work closely with Director, Donor Experience and stewardship team members to steward annual fund donors. Administer the budget to assure sound fiscal expenditures and management.
  • Manage and mentor a team Supervise direct marketing and frontline annual giving officers, as well as interns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree business, grant writing, fundraising or related degree required
  • 5 to 7 years of professional and nonprofit fundraising experience, building a portfolio, making asks and closing gifts required and
  • 5 to 7 years of a proven track record working face-to-face and building strong relationships with donors required and
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office required
  • 5 to 7 years of supervisory or management experience required
