More about the Job:
This is a fulltime, non-exempt, in-person, M-Fri., 8:30am-5pm position, sometimes with evening hours. During the pandemic, this position will be primarily remote, with the expectation of a return to in-person work as conditions allow.
Includes health insurance, dental, vision, vacation, sick time and 401k after one year. Salary between $36,000- $42,000, depending on experience. This is not a job with the State of Minnesota. Reports to the Associate Executive Director of the Foundation.

Your duties would include:
  1. Administrative Support 75%
    • Sitting at our front desk, answering phones, greeting visitors, opening mail.
    • Preparing documents, spreadsheets, and scheduling appointments for 1 director and 1 vice president.
    • Handling all documentation for our Board of Directors, including taking minutes at meetings, and organizing all supporting documentation.
    • Processing all gifts, from bank deposits to database entry in Raiser’s Edge database. Monthly reconciliation with accountant for bookkeeping.
    • Tracking office inventory and keeping it organized.
    • Preparing and organizing mass mailings.
    • Performing all of the above with data privacy in mind.
  2. Special Events 25%
    • Coordinate all aspects of events, working with team leaders: planning, logistics on the day of and all follow-up tasks after the event.
    • Recruit, train & organize all volunteers.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, AA/AS degree or equivalent life/work experience.
  • Ability to build relationships with all the people who help us accomplish our mission.
  • Solid communication skills in speaking and writing.
  • Great organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Intermediate skills with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A commitment to fostering equity and inclusion.

  • You have worked as an administrative assistant.
