The Catholic Services Appeal Foundation (CSAF) is seeking qualified candidates for a Database & Reporting Manager position. This is an exciting new position during a time of growth and development at the CSAF! Summary:
The Database & Reporting Manager will serve as the lead for all tracking, reporting, and analysis of the CSAF’s annual appeal’s performance, individual parish performance, and broader donor engagement.
The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, organization, and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving. They will provide the reports used to track the organization’s financials, fundraising performance, and overall efficacy.
This person will report to the Director of Appeal and oversee and assist in the gift processing function, including importing and exporting data and related processes.

This person will be committed to the CSAF’s work of sharing Christ’s love with neighbors in need through ministries that serve the poor, support life, and strengthen the Faith.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the database, including database updates and maintenance
  • Design and run reports affiliated with appeal performance, major gift progress, and other key performance metrics
  • Maintain and update all distribution lists, including NCOA and other annual updating processes
  • Prepare all mailing lists/data pulls in anticipation of each appeal launch
  • Oversee gift data entry and necessary reconciliation, including gift imports and batch deposits
  • Manage all aspects of the gift processing, receipting, and acknowledgment functions
  • Provide support to marketing and communications on campaigns, segmentation and analytics for mailings, newsletters, and other communication functions, including integration with social media activities
  • Advise leadership on technology strategy, and technology implications of overall organizational objectives, and system requirements relative to network, web, and other technology areas
  • Oversee data management for programs and initiatives, including tracking of participants, events, newsletters, reporting and other organizational activities
  • Ensure all data management policies and best practices are upheld
  • Assist in responding to donor and parish inquiries
  • Manage data security, privacy, integrity, storage, and recovery
  • Performs other duties as assigned which may change to meet the needs of the Foundation

Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree or commensurate experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Experience in a data-focused role within a nonprofit organization ideal
  • Ability to partner with staff, volunteer leaders, and parish-based contacts
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate values of respect, good work ethic, positive attitude, team player and self-starter
