Summary
The Senior Engagement Associate manages a portfolio of financial sponsors, volunteers, and prospects. The role includes maintaining and building relationships through prospect identification, strategy, development, cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgement, and stewardship. This position leads creative and collaborative strategy to secure both financial and volunteer resources while exploring ways to deepen and broaden partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively create and implement strategies to recruit, steward, and increase sponsorship and volunteerism of assigned corporate, faith based, and other groups
  • Effectively present the case for philanthropic support to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to individuals and groups of all sizes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to create, develop, and execute events and special projects
  • Recruit, organize, schedule and train assigned groups, ensuring effective communication and coordination of volunteer opportunities, financial sponsorships, and pledge fulfillment
  • Ensure appropriate systems are established and administered for acknowledging contributions
  • Identify and engage prospects for individual gifts from volunteer and sponsorship groups
  • Maintain donor and volunteer records with updated contact information, meeting notes, and other key information
  • Track, analyze, and report on volunteer and donor data using Raiser’s Edge, Volunteer Scheduling calendar, VolunteerHub, and other applicable software
  • Participate in a variety of internal and external events including staff and departmental meetings, external partner meetings and TCHFH Home Celebrations
  • Update and tailor communications materials for soliciting and training groups
  • Research, attend trainings, and stay up to date on volunteerism and fundraising trends

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in volunteer coordination and fundraising

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize strategy and think creatively on how to engage partners in new and different ways
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a variety of people and occasionally handle difficult situations and conflicts with finesse
  • Ability to meet deadlines, use time efficiently, prioritize, work independently, and work as an effective team member
  • Good communication skills with the ability to write professional documents and speak to groups of various sizes
  • Ability to work under pressure to handle frequent change, delays, and/or unexpected events
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and database software
  • Attend meetings and events outside of the office as needed
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry boxes of supplies weighing up to 20 pounds

COMPENSATION
$43,500-$51,000 annually dependent on qualifications and experience. Exempt, salaried position with excellent benefit package.
