Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

RAGOM’s Development and Marketing Director is responsible for creating and implementing a development strategy and managing RAGOM’s marketing activities to raise awareness and expand RAGOM’s reach. This position reports to the Board Chair and is responsible for achieving RAGOM’s fundraising goals, managing RAGOM’s brand, and promoting RAGOM’s programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement an annual development plan and strategy
  • Create and manage marketing content calendar
  • Lead development efforts to raise an established annual budget
  • Foster and grow donor base
  • Manage oversight and ensure stewardship of major donors
  • Develop, and manage a team of volunteers to support development and marketing goals
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Board of Directors
  • Maintain donor database records and ensure confidentiality
  • Promote, manage, and grow RAGOM’s planned giving program
  • Lead peer-to-peer aspect of Goldzilla fundraising event, attend monthly meetings, and manage event corporate sponsorships
  • Manage media relations
  • Manage social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) internally and publicly
  • Provide oversight of consumer reviews (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.), including responses, metrics, and summaries to the Board Chair
  • Create and manage annual report
  • Own vendor relationship with donor CRM
  • Provide oversight for all tasks associated with maintaining ratings on the Charities Review Council, Guidestar, and Charity Navigator

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Proven management and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and manage projects
  • Competent computer and database skills
  • Social media experience with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Experience managing diverse staff and/or volunteer groups
