Are Employee Giving Campaigns Equitable? Let’s ask the employees.

For years, employee giving campaigns have been accepted as good practice in most fundraising programs. But as fundraisers look more deeply at the inequity built into our programs, more have wondered about employee giving campaigns.

You can google and find the debates on the topic. At networking events, you will find fundraisers on both sides of the issue. But how do the employees see it? Are we asking them?

Join AFP MN for a conversation on employee giving campaigns, featuring non-fundraisers. From the perspective of folks in leadership, human resources, and program delivery, we’ll discuss how they’ve viewed employee giving campaigns. And we’ll also discuss, as fundraisers, whether or not employee giving campaigns can be equitable and community-centered.

Come ready to share your thoughts and ideas on this long-time fundraising tactic. Should it become a part of the past?
