Join Jamie Ziemann, Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Minnesota-North Dakota-South Dakota Chapter, as she shares the secrets to success of her high-performing major gifts team. TNC embraces a focus on relationship-driven major and principal gift level fundraising. Their work is guided by five core principles, which form the basis for how they interact with donors as well as how they collaborate internally on fundraising. Get to know Jamie:
Jamie Ziemann currently serves as Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Minnesota-North Dakota-South Dakota Chapter. She’s a mission-driven fundraising professional with over 20 years of major gifts experience in non-profits that operate at a global to local scale. In her early career, Jamie worked for Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media, growing her leadership skills and expertise in major gifts fundraising. During that tenure, she was directly involved as a front-line fundraiser with two large capital campaigns, and multiple annual fund drives. In December 2021, Jamie joined TNC’s chapter Executive Team to lead major and principal gifts level fundraising – fully committed to creating a world in which people and nature thrive. She’s driven by building authentic relationships, lifting the talents of others, and helping donors achieve their philanthropic outcomes. Jamie’s hobbies include anything that involves getting outdoors to experience nature. She’s a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a degree in Communication Arts.
