Reimagine the Vocation of Nonprofit FundraisingIn this session, communications strategist and literary scholar Neil Chudgar will give you much-needed space, time and guidance to reimagine your work in the world. You’ll leave the session with some entirely new ways to order and frame what you do, a greater sense of ease and comfort in your work, and a clearer picture of the future you want to help create. As we start to imagine what our world might look like in the future — in the wake of the pandemic, the uprising, and the wounds of the last administration — nonprofit fundraisers have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reimagine the role you play.1.25 CFRE credits available for attending this Education Session.SpeakerNeil Chudgar, Ph.D., helps people talk about the ideas that matter most. With clients from Fortune 100 to government agencies to tiny nonprofits, Neil specializes in the big, important ideas that give meaning and purpose to the work people do. These days, his consulting practice emphasizes work with public servants, do-gooders, people of faith, repairers and maintainers of all kinds. Before consulting, Neil came to Minnesota to serve on the English faculty at Macalester College in Saint Paul, where he taught courses about literature, philosophy, and ecological thought. He and his husband live and work in Northeast Minneapolis with two orange cats and a lot of plants.
