Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000

Totino-Grace High School is seeking a full-time Vice-President of Institutional Advancement and currently accepting applications. We are looking for a dynamic leader to provide strong guidance and direction to an already strong and proven advancement team. 

The Totino-Grace High School Office of Institutional Advancement exists to secure the necessary resources to advance the school’s Catholic Lasallian mission. The Vice President for Institutional Advancement is a highly visible role that serves as the school’s Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive advancement initiatives aimed at significantly increasing constituent involvement and fundraising outcomes. The advancement function includes responsibility for annual fund, major gifts, gift planning, endowment, capital campaigns, and alumni and constituent relations efforts, stewardship, and advancement services.

The Vice President is a confident self-starter who proactively seeks new funding and growth opportunities. With an already-healthy group of major donors, data/analytics capacity, and a successful events program in place, the Vice President is an outcomes-oriented manager who can take fundraising to the next level.

  1. Actively work with the President and Institutional Advancement Office staff to develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy that includes targeted yearly and long-term goals as well as implementation of the Strategic Plan.
  2. Develop and maintain close relationships with major donors and cultivate relationships with possible benefactors, in order to build the school’s endowment and fund substantial capital programs as well as the annual fund.
  3. Knowledge of data, research, and advancement tools to identify prospects for annual and major gifts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
The ideal candidate will display a record of leadership and accomplishment in Advancement with a proven track record of fundraising success, especially with campaign planning/execution and in major gift solicitations. Strong organizational, supervisory, and leadership capabilities are required. The successful candidate will demonstrate successful solicitation of major and principal gifts and present a history of building advancement programs and fundraising performance. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and team building skills are a must.

Education and Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree is required and master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience as a senior level advancement professional or several years of experience as an associate advancement professional in education is preferred. The ability to work effectively with many diverse constituencies in a diverse environment should be evident. Other important characteristics include a strong work ethic, competitive nature, personal integrity, emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning skills, and a vocational call to Catholic higher education.

Desired Skills

  1. Professional experience in college or high school Advancement
  2. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software
  3. Background overseeing alumni and planned giving programs
  4. Understanding of the Lasallian mission and experience in a Lasallian or Catholic high school or university
