Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000

Your Role:
The Development Coordinator provides administrative support for our mid-level, major and planned gift teams and the Philanthropic Leadership Team.

Expected Compensation Range: $50,000 - $55,000/yr. Exact salary determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure and internal equity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support gift officers in administrative tasks including booking travel, conference registration, purchase cards and other tasks as assigned.
  • Update Planned Giving opportunities and ensure dashboard accuracy in Salesforce for performance tracking and other needs.
  • Organize and maintain Planned Giving and estate administration donor files, ensuring all hard files are scanned and stored on donor records in Salesforce.
  • Process realized estate gift paperwork and track the status of planned gifts in administration.
  • Serve as the contact for Member and Audience Services for questions related to Planned Giving.
  • Provide support to colleagues by scheduling meetings, updating calendars, sharing meeting invitations, reserving meeting locations, and sending meeting reminders.
  • Provide back-up support for creating and sending donor acknowledgement letters during high volume times of year.
  • Support accurate and personal donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship with prompt response to Planned Giving inquiries, and other assignments.
  • Build collaborative relationships on and off our team.
  • Attend and support donor events as needed.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

  • HS Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum of two years relevant work experience related to administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant experience using customer or constituent databases (Salesforce highly preferred), MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint; Zoom

  • Previous experience with nonprofit fundraising strongly preferred
