Salary Range: $100,000 plus incentive

Due to an internal move, we are looking for a leader in the Minnesota and Dakota’s region to develop and execute the fundraising strategy in order to grow annual revenues.

The Role:

• Focus on development strategy, manage fundraising targets and team donor portfolios, as well as cultivate your own portfolio of a small handful of corporations for solicitation and stewardship purposes.
• Meet annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects.
• Assist donors in creating meaning in their lives through giving to the American Red Cross.

The Team:
This is your opportunity to manage a staff of three Philanthropy Officers and two Development Specialist staff. You will work closely with the Regional CDO, CEO and the Board of Directors.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of major gifts leadership experience.
• Proactive development leader with an established track record of increasing philanthropic revenue from diverse constituencies.
• Progressive experience in successful development programs and knowledge of “best practices” in development.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.

Travel:
Travel to donor visits as needed. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
