Salary Range: $45,700 - $56,000
Touchstone Mental Health is seeking a professional with communication and donor relations experience to join our development and communications team. The Communication and Development Specialist is responsible for creating and curating content across a variety of channels, fostering relationships with donors, managing donor CRM, and planning agency events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and manage our social media across a variety of channels
- Develop and manage external and internal newsletters and ERM system
- Maintain and update website content and photos
- Collaborate with program leaders on writing appeals, stories, and brochures
- Engages and fosters relationships with donors
- Manage donor CRM system, document gifts, prepare acknowledgment letters and tax receipts
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and support fundraising and agency events
- Manage relationships with graphic designers, printers, and other business partners
- Manage printing and mailing for appeals and events
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in the creation and curation of content across a wide spectrum of channels required
- Experience with donor relations preferred
- Experience in communication or development for a nonprofit organization preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field preferred
- Experience with CRM and ERM preferred
- Experience in event planning preferred
