Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Provides integrated partnership with Gillette Children’s Foundation mission to raise funds and awareness for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare through our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) and our corporate partners. Contributes to Foundation efforts by making strategic plans and projections, developing relationships with CMN partners, overseeing CMN funds raised towards goals, and cultivation of key CMN business individuals. Partners/coordinates with all divisions of organization to fundraise including planning and execution of identification, cultivation, and stewardship strategies.
Major ChallengesPosition requires ability to assess and implement strategies that increase partner and customer engagement with Gillette, and that result in increased funds raised. These strategies require innovation, planning, implementation, ability to present effectively to individuals and to large audiences, strong written and verbal communications, effective relationship building with external and internal customers, independent time management, and ability to balance competing priorities. The position also requires regular travel around the metro area, and at times, throughout the state, to represent Gillette with CMN Corporate Partners and other donors.
Primary Focus:Represents Gillette in partner responsibilities in order to meet the income/expense goal for the upcoming year.
Responsibility to manage the stewardship and solicitation plan for each partner by tailoring goals/objectives for leadership, employees and customers.
Enhance all partner relationships with personal and meaningful contact with each partner’s locations by combining use of in person visit, phone calls, email and virtual techniques .
Work with partners to problem solve on challenges and obstacles through meeting, provides resources (i.e., literature), solutions, and generating new ideas and strategies.
Create Gillette materials and informational presentations to present at campaign kickoffs and stewardship celebrations.
Collaborate with Communications team to develop collateral materials
Partners with teammates and Foundation leadership to develop and implement an annual operating plan to meet CMN fund-raising goals for charitable contributions with local and national accounts and support overall fundraising goals.
Develops new corporate partners while building on current partners relationships.
Identifies new potential relationships through networking to create new partner opportunities.
Work 1-1 with patient families regarding connections they have to businesses and groups.
Working ConditionsRegular driving and local travel.
Physical demands of occasional lifting and moving (40 lbs) of props, literature, or supplies for events and general office.
Early morning, evening, and some weekend meetings/events.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree
2 years experience in similar role
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong interpersonal relationship skills in order to build relationships with internal and external partners
Computer experience with word-processing and database management
Strong presentation (both verbal and written) and public speaking skills
Proven qualities of self-initiative and self-motivation
Competent analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities; outstanding organizational skills
Resourcefulness and flexibility
Ability to plan and execute strategies independently, problem-solve and address customer concerns independently
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive own car for appointments, meetings, events, etc. Majority of travel within 150 miles.
