As a representative of Park Nicollet Foundation, the Gift Officer is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individuals, as well as developing and soliciting a robust pipeline of mid-level and major gift ($25,000+) donors. The position will develop relationships with individuals in early stage cultivation and/with whom the Foundation has little to no relationship with, maintain and steward mature donor relationships, promote grateful patient strategies and support and lead special projects, campaigns and committees. This position relates to donors, patients, staff, volunteers and prospective supporters in an effort to cultivate and develop relationships resulting in mid-level, major, and planned philanthropic gifts. Responsibilities include philanthropic case and campaign support, management of a donor/prospect portfolio, collaboration with the Foundation team, recording and reporting on activities and relationship moves and leadership in special campaigns, committees, projects and events as needed.
Education/Experience:Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of successful mid-level gifts and major gift experience preferably in a health care or health-related nonprofit organization.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred or obtained within 12months.

- Solid understanding of fundraising and fundraising campaigns, including annual giving programs
Candidate should understand the role of philanthropy and its significance in the future of health care and have at least five years of proven success securing major gifts and annual gifts. The candidate should understand and subscribe to professional standards of conduct regarding gift solicitation, donor cultivation and stewardship principles. The candidate should understand the role of philanthropy and its significance in the future of health care. The candidate should also understand the importance of community collaborations and encouraging collective impact.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
The candidate will be required to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
